Le sculpteur dignois&nbsp;: Louis Botinelly (1883-1962), fils d\u2019un tailleur de pierre et neveu d\u2019un sculpteur, \u00e9tudie aux Beaux-Arts de la ville o\u00f9 il est boursier puis \u00e0 Paris. Il joue un r\u00f4le important dans la d\u00e9coration publique et priv\u00e9e de cit\u00e9 phoc\u00e9enne pendant l\u2019entre-deux guerres et dans la p\u00e9riode suivante.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;La puissante F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Bouches-du-Rh\u00f4ne des b\u00e2timents et travaux annexes qui s\u2019installe sur la Canebi\u00e8re, et y promeut notamment une protection sociale adapt\u00e9e et une pr\u00e9vention des accidents du travail, commande \u00e0 l\u2019artiste des bas reliefs carr\u00e9s.&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;Ils repr\u00e9sentent des travailleurs du b\u00e2timent en action. Toujours par deux, ils sont reconnaissables \u00e0 leurs grosses chaussures, leurs chemises aux manches retrouss\u00e9es et leurs muscles saillants.
